Abstract

WCVA, in partnership with Welsh Government, has secured funding from the European Transition Fund. The Fund was established to help businesses, public services and other partner organisations in Wales plan and prepare for the implications of Brexit. WCVA and Welsh Government intend to use a proportion of the funding obtained to fund research (stage one of a two part project) into how the Brexit process could impact on community services in Wales and help the third sector plan for different eventualities. The objective of this research is to help the third sector ensure any contingency planning and preparations are proportionate, as well as to act to reassure both the sector and communities that benefit from these services. WCVA estimates the full cost of this research and the subsequent production of any findings, will not exceed £45,000 including VAT. Further information in relation to the project and research requirement can be found in section 3.1 of Appendix 2: Detailed requirements – objectives of the research and Annex 3: Information pack for prospective suppliers.
