Trivallis are seeking to appoint an experienced contractor to undertake the cleaning of Sheltered Schemes and Supported Housing Schemes, including bungalows attached to the schemes.

The services will also include cleaning to windows along with all additional requirements, to include but not be limited to windows, glass partitions, glass lifts and canopies.

2.6 TUPE - As this is a second generation contract that is currently provided by an external supplier it will be the responsibility of either the incumbent supplier or any new suppliers (depending on the outcome of the process) to decide whether TUPE applies or not. If you have any further questions on this matter please submit them via the e-tender wales portal by the 10th February 2020 and we will liaise with the incumbent supplier to answer your questions. We would advise against contacting the supplier directly, this is to ensure that all tenderers receive the same information at the same time. Please see Annex 4 of the tender documentation which details of the potential TUPE liability as understood by the incumbent supplier. Annex 4 includes numerous tabs, Tab 1 contains information as provided by the incumbent supplier. Tab 2 highlights the work schedule as provided by the Trivallis contracts manager. Trivallis accepts no obligation or liability for any aspects of TUPE relating to this contract. Bidders should take their own advice as to whether they believe TUPE applies to this service transfer.
