Abstract

Grwp Cynefin are seeking to appoint a Contractor to undertake site clearance and the controlled demolition of the existing buildings and above ground tanks on the former Express Motors Garage site in Penygroes. The bus depot site was developed by the early 1950s and its most recent use was a motor-vehicle garage. The requirement is to carry out the controlled demolition of all buildings to ground level.

17/02/2020 09:42	Adjacent Boundaries The tender documents refer to the proximity of adjacent properties and thoroughfares bounding all sides of the site which remain in use and the requirement to not interfere, cause damage and adequately protect persons and property whilst carrying out of the site clearance and demolitions. We draw your attention particularly to the proximity of the maintenance building to the boundary where Grwp Cynefin’s office car park is situated. This car park is primarily used Monday to Friday during office hours but not usually at weekends.

20/02/2020 16:16	Pricing document amendments 1 After Item A on Page 11 of Pricing Document, it states the following: "Cleaning of inspection pits, chambers, holes, sinkings etc. shall be carried out using suitable detergent and water, pressure washer if required; ensure all outlets and pipes are capped off prior to cleaning to prevent any spread of contamination, dispose of oil and water mix as hazardous waste." Add sentence: Insert a Provisional Sum of £10,000 for Cleaning of inspection pits, chambers, holes, sinkings etc. – to be expended at the instruction of the Employer if required 2 After Item A on Page 8 of Pricing Document.. Add new Item... Item A1 Dispose of tyres off site to an approved and recognised tyre or appropriate waste disposal company and provide documentation confirming where they have been disposed and number disposed.
