Title
Minor Responsive & Planned Works
|
2.2
|
Description of the goods or services required
Under the Customer Directorate’s day to day responsive repairs programme ateb requires contractors to be appointed to carry out minor building works to its properties.
The Property Services Directorate has a requirement for planned packages of works.
Millbay Homes properties will be privately owned but approximately 25 - 50 units at any one time would still be in a 12 months defects warranty period and any defects will be subject to responsive repairs response times.
Ateb is supportive to local and smaller contractors, and this contract is broken down into work categories and geographical areas so a smaller specialist contractor can bid for work in one work category only if they wish. Contractors who have the ability to undertake the work across more than one work category may bid for some or all of the work categories.
The geographical split North/South consists of:
• South - all properties south of the river Cleddau.
• North - all properties north of the river Cleddau.
NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process. To obtain further information record your interest on Sell2Wales at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/search/search_switch.aspx?ID=99406
