Purchase of Group Cycling Bikes & Virtual Programmes

Description of the goods or services required

We are seeking to engage an organisation to provide 25 group cycling bikes with digital and virtual capabilities to enhance the user experience at the Sport Wales National Centre, Cardiff.

Bidders will need to provide a detailed specification of the bike they are proposing to offer along with details of the digital and virtual offer. Including any prerequisites needed for installation and operation.

Also, bidders are to confirm annual maintenance and support options along with onsite training for both instructors and ‘back office’ programming functions

Group cycling bikes and associated products/hardware must be delivered by 31st March 2021.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

The bikes and associated software/hardware need to provide the following (but not exclusively)

• a real time digital user feedback

• Digital functionality for group and/or individual data visualisation

• Virtual on-screen coaching workouts with varying class durations

• Virtual on-screen ‘free rides’ with a range of locations and programmable durations

• Instructors ability to build bespoke programmes

• Schedule weekly classes (recurring and one off)

The package should include the price for all 25 bikes along with associated software and hardware products to support the delivery of a ‘live’, digital and virtual programme.
