We seek a transmit and receive RF coil solution for use on the human head with the Siemens MAGNETOM 7T (dual-resonant at 2H and 1H frequencies). The coil is intended for 2H imaging of the human brain, including the cerebellum and brainstem and therefore signal transmit, and reception characteristics should provide sensitivity from the whole brain. 1H capability is also required to permit conventional hydrogen MRI without the need to swap coils mid scan session.
