Minimum standards and qualification required

Work Required

An electrical system failure can occur at any time and the requirement for a functioning UPS is critical to the Health Board. The risk to clinical and corporate areas (including IT server rooms) must be mitigated by the provision of a functioning UPS.

The contractor is responsible for the annual service and planned preventative maintenance of UPS and IPS.

Frequency

UPS Two services per annum

IPS One service per annum

Response time:

This service should include call outs when required with a response time of 4 hours.
