Abstract

Conwy County Borough Council were looking to develop, improve and update the changing rooms at Colwyn Bay Leisure Centre in North Wales The aspiration was for the male and female changing areas to both have the wet sides that are used for the swimming pool patrons and the dry sides which are used by the gymnasium users to be updated and refurbished to a more modern standard. This was to include primarily the supply and installation of new changing cubicles and vanity units, flooring and internal decorations within the areas, repairs and replacements if required to the suspended ceiling tiling, wall panelling, shower units and layout. Aims & Objectives The objective of the area was to provide a place which delivers a sustainable product which improves accessibility for customers and all user types, and creates a more modern environment for the centre for customers to change in.
