3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

Sport Wales requires a Social Return on Investment (SROI) framework to value the contribution of sport to Wales. This study will demonstrate the contribution of sport to any area where there is a robust evidence base, including, but not limited to, health, subjective well-being, education, social capital, crime prevention and other benefits such as volunteering. The report will be centred in the policy context in Wales, considering the Vision for Sport in Wales and the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act.

The data should be taken from the most recent available statistics.

Recognising that where previous SROI’s have been established in Wales they have used wellbeing data that is both historic and drawn from England, the successful tender will require to also produce a Wellbeing analysis for Wales, either through collating existing data or/and through developing a specific survey for Wales where the evidence is not available.

Within the budget of the submission providers will also capture two days’ worth of time in presenting the findings to external audiences as well as further outputs including agreement to work with the communications teams at Sport Wales to publicise the results of the SROI.
