Replacement of Existing Fire alarm system with new systems designed to B.S.5839 -1 . To three number Sheltered schemes owned by Valleys to Coast Housing Limited

1 Dinam Close, Dinam Street, Nantymoel, CF32 7PU, 18nr Flats

2 Hafan Deg, Mill Street, Maesteg, CF34 9HT, 32Nr Flats

3 Treharne Row, Treharne Row, Maesteg, CF34 9UU, 18nr Flats

The work is to be carried out by Contractors who are Third Party Certified Contractors – BAFE SP203- 1 Fire Detection and Alarm Systems: Design; Installation; Commissioning/Handover; Maintenance.

The works will be carried out with the residents in situ, works will need to be completed by 18th December 2015.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

The work is to be carried out by Contractors who are Third Party Certified Contractors – BAFE SP203- 1 Fire Detection and Alarm Systems: Design; Installation; Commissioning/Handover; Maintenance.

Contractors should have a minimum annual turnover of £300,000.

Contractors should have sufficient resources to complete all three schemes by 18th December 2015.
