Title

Provision of Support for BCBC Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme

Description of the goods or services required

Through this tender process Bridgend County Borough Council wishes to procure provision for support to families resettled as part of the UK Government’s Vulnerable Person’s Resettlement Scheme (VPRS) and the Vulnerable Children's Resettlement Scheme (VCRS).

The successful provider will deliver ongoing case work and an advocacy function for refugees within the locality. Provision will adopt a whole family approach, providing generic support to all members of the families and primary orientation within the host communities.

The service will support a maximum of 12 family units at any one time during the contract period. There will be two aspects of the service, which are set out below:

Tier 1 (Years 1 and 2 of Resettlement)

In Tier 1 direct support will be provided to the 5 families that are yet to be resettled, but will be by March 2020.

And

Tier 2 (Years 3 to 5 of Resettlement)

There are currently 7 family units that require this type of support, with it being anticipated that the 5 families yet to be relocated, will move to this tier of support after each has had a 2 year period of support under Tier 1.
