The University seeks to award a contract for Provision of Network Connectivity Services provided by JISC, with respect to JANET, EduRoam, and associated service infrastructure. The contract is for a 12 month period, however the University expects to renew this agreement on an annual basis for the next 4 years at a total value of approximately 550,000 GBP excl VAT.

Jisc provides exclusive connection to the JANET network, a uk-wide, high-speed, resilient network operated by Jisc on behalf of the HE sector.
In line with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 32(2) (b) competition is absent for technical reasons.
