Abstract

The aim of the contract is to review disparities in pay and conditions across the social care workforce in Wales (including health care support workers/assistants who undertake similar roles in the NHS and are employed on Agenda for Change pay scales) and assess the extent to which this may have influenced recruitment and retention of care workers and where possible, examine any consequential impact on continuity and/or quality of care provided.
