As part of The School of Management Strategic development Plan, the ambition is to develop a programme of executive education and a centre for leadership and management over the next three years. Our Vision is to be world leading in innovation, management and leadership of Health and Well-Being, Digital Society and Sustainable Economies. Partnering with other Swansea University departments and organisations the School aims to establish its Executive & Continuing Education Service to meet the skillsets required by an evolving workplace. To realise part of this ambition the School is to develop a Centre for Life Science Leadership & Management – with the primary focus on management and leadership for public and private healthcare organisations
Specific requirements needed to ensure the successfully implementation of the Executive Education and aid development of the School of Management reputation within the Life Sciences Sector include:
- High level of knowledge and practical application of the value based health care principles
- Significant experience of a senior leadership position in the life science sector
- Extensive networks nationally and internationally in the pharma and life sciences sector
- Track record of delivering executive education programmes in the life science sector
