VI.3) Additional information
The aim of the procurement process is to establish a Framework from which University can engage potential suppliers of Intellectual Property (IP) advice and services in order to support University’s IP protection and exploitation activities.
This competitive procurement relates to ‘Patent and copyright consultancy services’ (CPV 79120000-1) and falls within the meaning of Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Therefore, this procurement will be conducted in accordance with Regulations 74 to 76 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, known as the ‘Light Touch Regime’. The University notes that the procedure being used reflects that of the open procedure but would like to emphasise that the University is not advertising this as an open procedure tender; as such the University reserves the right to utilise the flexibility of the Light Touch Regime.
