Abstract

The purpose of the requirement is to secure a Production Survey Framework required to obtain metrics used for timber sale- and valuation purposes. The data obtained needs to be obtained through industry recognised methods and to a statistical accuracy as described in the Forest Surveys Handbook. NRW is seeking to award a framework agreement for the whole of Wales to secure skilled and competent contractors to carry out these Production Surveys. The location for the delivery of this requirement will be at in 7 geographical lots throughout the whole of Wales as shown in the following table. There will be a maximum of 3 suppliers awarded a place on this framework in each of the 7 lots.
