Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council (RCTCBC) is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced consultant, to provide Ynysangharad War Memorial Park - Heritage for Communities Project Evaluation
The project will restore and rejuvenate the heritage features of the Grade II listed Ynysangharad War Memorial Park (YWMP), develop the parks audiences, strengthen operational structures and the management of the Park, and provide much-needed opportunities for participation, learning and engagement. The Park will be safer, and with better access, and heritage of the Park and the natural environment will be better interpreted. A programme of activities will facilitate engagement with a wider range of people, including more younger people and those from disadvantaged backgrounds; encouraging them to use the Park for recreation and learning, improving their understanding of the area and its built and natural environment, and allowing them to make decisions about our heritage and how it can be safeguarded and celebrated.
The purpose of this evaluation will be to determine the impact the investment from the National Lottery Heritage Fund has in achieving the above, and in particular, in respect to:
Whether NLHF outcomes for heritage, people and community have been achieved by the project.
RCTCBC require an external evaluation of the project, to be procured, to to provide a baseline report, an interim report on progress, with a final evaluation taking place prior to closure.
Baseline Report August 2021 – November 2021
Stage 1 – Mid Term Evaluation September 2022 – December 2022
Stage 2 – Final Evaluation September 2023 – December 2024
