Abstract

Welsh Government wishes to commission a contract to explore options for carrying out the National Survey for Wales in future. The review will be based largely on desk research and expert review of the options, as well as a small number of discussions with those involved in running the current survey. The contractor (or consortium) carrying out the review will need to have substantial expertise in both best practice and the latest developments in survey design and methodology within the UK and internationally; and in delivering large-scale, random-sample social surveys. The review will begin in August 2021, with the main findings to be provided by autumn 2021.
