Abstract

This is an Invitation to Quote (ITQ) for the Provision of Bedford Ironworks – Vegetation Removal and Masonry Repairs to Bridgend County Borough Council (Bridgend CBC). The following is an overview of the requirement: The Bedford Ironworks is a scheduled ancient monument / listed building. The Authority requires that the Successful Bidder carefully and safely removes the vegetation from the structure and then repairs as necessary the associated masonry to the structure in line with the Tender Documents, Specification and Schedule of Works. A full suite of documents published as attachments on ETenderWales. The Authority requires that all Contractors who intend submitting a quotation must be Registered and Verified on Constructionline. https://www.constructionline.co.uk/ The contractor is required to properly dispose of all waste materials such as removed vegetation and spoil. The site is to be left in a clean and tidy condition after every working day and more importantly, at the end of the contract. The contractor is fully responsible for all matters relating to Health and Safety on site in accordance with the Health and Safety Act 1974. Terms and Conditions: The Conditions of Contract shall be the JCT Minor Works Building Contract 2016, and the Contract Preliminaries issued as part of the Invitation to Tender Please refer to the Quotation Documents.
