The Provision of a Cleaning Service at Housing Advice Centre

Description of the goods or services required

Blaenau Gwent CBC has recently taken ownership of a property in Ebbw Vale to provide an Housing Advice Service to the residents of Ebbw Vale. The building is situated at 20 Church Street, Ebbw Vale and consists of three floors which the successful company would be required to clean.

Companies will be expected to provide a cleaning service for 12.5 hours per week to clean all the public areas - which include the reception area, Interview room, Meeting room, Kitchen and Toilets.

Along with the public areas, companies will be required to clean all office / communal areas within the allocated hours. The scope of the work identified within the companies submission (in line with this specification) will form part of the overall contract.

The cleaning service would need to be undertaken between the hours of 7:00am and 8:15am then between 5:45pm to 7pm on a daily basis, Monday - Friday. The successful company would be allocated a key to open the centre to undertake the morning clean and to lock the centre after completing the evening clean.

Initially this service will be for 1 year and may be extended for a further 12 month period (subject to performance)
