Additional Information
This study will build on a previous study which looked at options to develop a Greenway along the line of a disused railway between Mold and Saltney. This study will look at only parts of the disused railway to take it to full design stages if land can be acquired. The study will also look at alternative route options utilising highway verge and quiet roads by introducing relevant traffic management and engineering solutions. The previous study will be made available.
Parts of the highway network have also undergone some initial site investigations with preliminary solutions as part of developing Flintshire County Council’s Active Travel Integrated Network Map. These proposals will be made available for more detailed investigation.
