Abstract
The General Dental Services (GDS) Reform Programme has been developed to address some of the well-known challenges within dental services across Wales. The reforms aim to involve key dental stakeholders to understand what matters to patients. The proposed changes will create a different GDS delivery model in Wales. In line with the objective of the GDS reform programme, it is important that public views are sought on the GDS Reform. This research will engage with the public in Wales to understand their views on key changes envisaged through the GDS Reform Programme. A nationally representative sample of the population will be surveyed to collect public views on the GDS Reform Programme. The surveys will be undertaken by a market research company, overseen by the PHCU at Bangor University.
