Project business case for a regional Collection and Conservation Centre in Carmarthenshire

Description of the goods or services required

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking a suitably experienced individual or team to undertake a rigorous business assessment and audience research process to inform development plans for a Museums Collection and Conservation Centre in Carmarthenshire.

This brief sets out the requirement for a study that falls into two parts. While the need for the Conservation and Collection Centre is reasonably well understood from the perspective of Carmarthenshire Museums’ own requirements, further work is required to understand and measure potential wider public and business benefits. The resultant report will hold considerable significance because it will inform future conversations with stakeholders and funders. It will also provide the focus for detailed project Activity Planning.
