Swansea Council has received Welsh Government grant funding to improve all schools Network infrastructure.
Due to the Schools Network and WiFi Architecture re-design and move from CISCO / Aerohive to ARUBA technology, most schools will require cabinet moves/replacements and associated cabling changes. All Schools (94 in total) will require WiFi Access Point (AP) installs and removal of existing APs. In total there 2048 APs across all schools.
To enable the council to implement these changes, Swansea Council are seeking a contractor to undertake all required cabling installations/replacements, all cabinet moves/replacements and the installation of new Wifi Access Points and removal of old Wifi APs.
