Fell conifers on SSSI moorland

RSPB Cymru are looking to appoint a forestry contractor to fell all self-seeded conifers on seven areas of SSSI moorland (155ha in total) surrounding Lake Vyrnwy. The objective of the work is to remove invasive non-native species from the SSSI to improve its condition.

Please be aware that we will only consider applications from suppliers who have attended a site visit. Site visits will take place between the 28th June and the 2nd July.
