Provision of Certification services in relation to ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System

Velindre University NHS Trust is hereby seeking competitive tenders to select a suitably qualified and competent UKAS accredited ISO14001 certification body that can undertake the following specialised services in order for the Velindre University NHS Trust to gain ISO14001 certification across its divisions

Total quantity or scope of tender

The services include the following for all 6 sites:

Recertification Audit of the Trust Estate (to be undertaken prior to certification expiry).

Certification of divisions within the Velindre University NHS Trust.

Annual surveillance audits as part of the certification process.

Updating the certification standard as may be required within the term of the contract (all audits and assessments under new legislation will be deemed inclusive within submitted schedule of rates).

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

Must be UKAS and Environmental Management System accredited certifier.

The Certification Body should provide evidence of accreditation to ISO 9001 for Quality Procedures and ISO 14001 for Environmental Procedures. If ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 have not been gained then evidence is required confirming quality and environmental procedures are to an equivalent standard

The works will need to be commenced in line with all Trust divisions being audited for re-certification by the 16th December 2024 and 2027
