The Supply & Fit of Windows & Doors Including Planned and Reactive Maintenance

Description of the goods or services required

The Gorwel Consortium intends to establish a Framework Agreement with a suitably qualified and experienced contractor(s) for the supply and fit of windows & doors which will cover both planned and reactive maintenance. The framework agreement will be for an initial 2 year period with the option to extend for two additional 12 month periods.

The Gorwel Consortium consists of five individual housing associations operating in the South, West, East and Mid Wales regions.

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:

The Authority will be looking to develop and deliver Community Benefits as part of the contract as a non-core approach. This will support the Authority’s economic and social objectives.

The non-core approach delivers community benefits and will be included as contract conditions, but will not be assessed either at selection or award stage.
