The works include general repair and maintenance to the external structures and internal refurbishment of the properties. This involves the renewal of soffits/fascia’s; repairs to brickwork/render; repairs and rebuilding of chimneys; external works including repairs to paths, shed roofs, fencing and other general repair and refurbishment work. Internal work includes re-wiring, replacing kitchens, replacing bathroom, fitting central heating, carpentry and plastering repairs, and re-decorating.

V2C is seeking to appoint one or more contractors to supplement the In House Housing Repairs Service in repairing empty properties following the ending of previous tenancies. These repairs are required to ensure that the properties achieve the minimum letting standards required by V2C (See Annex 6) and properties can be re-let in the quickest turn round time to minimise rent loss.

Approx. 440 voids throughout the year. Average cost of approx. £6k per property, however this can range from £200 to £30k and includes internal and external work to bring the property back to our letting standard.

1. Register your company on the eSourcing portal (this is only required once)

2. Express an Interest in the tender

3. Responding to the tender

- Click ‘My Response’ under ‘PQQ Details’, you can choose to ‘Create Response’ or to ‘Decline to Respond’ (please give a reason if declining)

- You can now use the ‘Messages’ function to communicate with the buyer and seek any clarification

- Note the deadline for completion then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the PQQ
