Description of the goods or services required

Conwy County Borough Council is seeking to procure a suitably qualified Contractor for the performance of the following contract:

Kinmel Bay Community Centre and Library - Remodelling and Refurbishment Works at Kendal Road, Kinmel Bay, Rhyl, LL18 5BT.

Full details of the works are contained in Volumes 1 – 5, Kinmel Bay Community Centre & Library - Remodelling and Refurbishment Works, as attached to this advert.

Total quantity or scope of tender

To The Scheme will comprise, but is not limited to, the following works:

To change the existing Cleaners store into a fully compliant accessible WC including taking down and building new walls, door and frame with architraves. Installing complete Doc M pack, new

door and frame and new finishes and floor covering. Alteration to existing services and fitting Altro whiterock to walls.

To alter services to kitchen and staff toilet in library to enable works to accessible WC to be carried out. Alteration and installation of services.

To alter existing accessible WC and convert into a Cleaners store. Strip out sanitary ware and services complete, new floor coverings and finishes, install new shelving and Cleaners slop sink including alterations to services.

Remove existing Lobby combination hardwood door and frame. Set aside and alter, refit in new location complete with ancillary works.

Replace floor coverings to lobby and corridor following relocation of Lobby door.

Carry out refurbishment works to Male toilets, remove and refit sanitary ware. Replace wall tiles with Altro Whiterock. Replace boxings with Pendoc profiles, replace floor coverings, put back

existing sanitary ware including alteration to services and paint finishes.

Carry out refurbishment works to Female toilets, remove and refit sanitary ware. Replace wall tiles with Altro Whiterock. Replace boxings with Pendoc profiles, replace floor coverings, put back

existing sanitary ware including alteration to services and paint finishes.

Replace existing entrance doors and frame with a new aluminium fully compliant automatic door including associated builders work and alterations to services.

Refurbishment of doors generally to the rooms being worked on.

General decorations.
