Abstract

The City & County of Swansea have commissioned a pilot project in order to assess the viability of the Council undertaking direct development of surplus Council owned sites that may otherwise be sold to property development companies.In order to inform the Council’s assessment of the advantages and potential financial return from a direct development approach, a short list of potential ‘quick win’ sites has been prepared. This Specification sets out information regarding the short list of identified quick win sites together with the development design stages which the Council consider it needs to undertake. Your firm is one of a number , which the Council are inviting to submit a fee quotation for:- • The provision of architectural design services. The Council will procure site surveys and a range of technical information in order to inform the initial feasibility scheme options as well as the detailed design process.
