Infrastructure Works at Bryn Cefni Industrial Park

Description of the goods or services required

The Welsh Government on behalf of the Welsh Ministers is seeking to appoint a Contractor to construct the Infrastructure Works / Commercial Estate Road at Bryn Cefni Industrial Park.

The proposed scope of works will include site clearance, earthworks, foul sewer, surface water drainage, new access road works and the provision of Utility Services, all as outlined within the attachment section of the portal.

The proposed scope of works will also The commercial estate (cul-de-sac) road is to be circa 150m long is to be designed and built to adoption standards, and will generally consist of 7.3m wide carriageway with footpaths / service strips, together with junctions located at appropriate locations to serve a potential of four Plots totalling circa 7.8 acres (3.16 Ha).

It should be noted that the Bryn Cefni Industrial Park is occupied and that the Successful Contractor will be required to maintain continual access at all times to existing occupiers and visitors to the adjoining Industrial Park.

The construction works will comply with all relevant legislation, and the requirements of the Local Highway Authority, and other statutory undertakers.

The awarding Authority reserves the right to request a parent company and/or other guarantees of performance and financial liability.

Payment terms will be indicated in the contract documents and tenders to be priced in Sterling. Payment made in Sterling only.

No special legal form required but joint and several liability assumed by all group bidders before acceptance.
