The Group is currently undergoing organisational change and is implementing its Vision and associated documents, one of these is DNA which is focused on developing a culture of:
o Trust
o Togetherness
o Getting things done
In December 2019, following consultation and involvement with all teams, we implemented new terms and conditions (with the exception of remuneration) which focused on creating a more agile and flexible working environment. We called this Our Future Workplace and this remuneration review is the second stage in this process. We developed our Working @ ateb document (attached) as part of Our Future Workplace exercise and stated that we would:
• Have systems that fairly remunerate our teams for their efforts and levels of responsibility within the group
• Consider non-consolidated annual financial rewards where our Board identified exceptional improvement and growth which would be subject to personal performance factors
We currently market test our salaries every three years and this year we would like to take this opportunity to complete the next stage in the development of Our Future Workplace; therefore we would like your opinions on timescales, achievability and costs of three options or approaches we could take.
Involvement and engagement of our teams is crucial to this process and something that we do insist on; you will therefore need to include in your proposal, options for involving our i2i – Involve to Improve (staff forum) team in addition to other team members from across the group.
