Abstract

The Cardiff and Vale Area Planning Board (C&V APB) is responsible for delivering the Welsh Government Substance Misuse Strategy ‘Working Together to Reduce Harm’ in the region. Service users’ involvement in the design and delivery of services has contributed significantly to the evolution of effective drug and alcohol treatment systems, and the Welsh Government continues to recognise the essential and developing role played by both current and ex-service users in the development of effective services. For the Cardiff and Vale Area Planning Board, Service User Involvement is about making sure that the people who use, or will use services, are meaningfully involved in the planning, development and decision making around how effective support is delivered. We are subsequently looking to commission an organisation who can support Cardiff & Vale APB to deliver its responsibilities around service user and carer involvement, and that it is truly embedded in all of the work that we do. The estimated value of the contract is £62,000.00. This tender is being issued on behalf of Cardiff and Vale Area Planning Board (CAV APB) and all bodies that are party to CAV APB. Cardiff and Vale University Health Board will be undertaking the tender and awarding the Contract on behalf of CAV APB. Cardiff City Council, who are named member of CAV APB, will raise Purchase Orders and pay invoices for this Contract on behalf of CAV APB.
