Abstract

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced suppliers to pilot a Wi-fi town network across several new rural market towns to extend and further develop the county’s current Wi-fi town programme. The commissioning of this contract will support aspirations of developing a network of SMART towns across rural Carmarthenshire and will align with the current work being undertaken across 10 rural towns across the County focusing on economic growth. This pilot project is being commissioned by Carmarthenshire County Council, as a joint pilot project funded by the county’s Local Action Group, Grŵp Cefn Gwlad who are responsible for the delivery of the LEADER programme, as well as Valley’s Taskforce Programme.

Description of the goods or services required

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced suppliers to pilot a Wi-fi town network across several new rural market towns to extend and further develop the county’s current Wi-fi town programme.
