Total quantity or scope of tender

The Isle of Anglesey County Council seeks to appoint a suitably qualified contractor(s) for the testing and maintenance of fire alarms, emergency lights and fire fighting equipment at council properties.

The contract is split into 3 lots:

Lot 1 – Periodic Inspection, Testing & Maintenance of Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting Systems at Various Council Buildings and Properties

Lot 2 – Periodic Inspection, Testing & Maintenance of Fire extinguishers at Various Council Buildings and Properties

Lot 3 - Periodic Inspection, Testing & Maintenance of Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment at Various Council Houses

It is envisaged that the contract will start on the 1st April 2022 for an initial period of 3 years with the option to extend for two further periods of 1 year (3+1+1)

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

The Contractor must, for the whole term of the contract, be approved for Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting work by an UKAS accredited certification body. Should the Contractor’s approval status change during the term of the contract, immediate notice must be given to the Contract Administrator.
