Abstract

BCUHB wishes to engage a provider to transfer deceased patients from the Wrexham Maelor Hospital to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, by either hearse or private ambulance, for the purposes of post mortem examination. The deceased would then be transferred back to Wrexham on the same day following completion of the examination.

• Deceased must arrive in Ysbyty Glan Clwyd mortuary by 9:30 am

• Deceased to be transferred back to Wrexham Maelor Hospital to arrive before 3.30pm

• Must be a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors (evidence required)

• Transfer will require two persons
