Qualifications Wales occupies the ground floor within the Q2 Building, a leased building in Imperial Park, Newport.

We are tendering for a company to provide Keyholding & Incident Response Services. The Contract will be for 2 years with 2 options to extend for up to 12 months each.

The Supplier will hold a set of keys for the building and be required to provide the following services.

• Opening and Closing

• Intruder Alarm Monitoring

• Incident Response

• Planned Additional Cover

• Unplanned Additional Cover

For Opening and Closing; The office is open between 7am – 7pm Monday to Friday.

For Incident Response;

Attendance is required at site within 20 minutes. The Supplier must have local staff able to respond to this time frame at all times.

The Supplier and/or any Sub-contractors’ company should be a Security Industry Authority (SIA) Approved Contractor and the persons carrying out the service must be SIA Key-holding Licenced.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

Able to provide an out of hours response to alarm within 20 minutes;

Able to provide 7am office opening and 7pm office closing Monday to

Friday (not including bank holidays or during our Christmas shutdown);

Security Industry Authority (SIA) Approved Contractor
