Cwm Taf University Health Board was established in October 2009 and provides primary, community, hospital and mental health services to almost 300,000 people living in Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf. Ideally situated between Wales’ capital city, Cardiff to the South and the stunning scenery in the Brecon Beacons National Park to the North, we operate within a vibrant community, rich with history and heritage. As the second largest employer in the area, we employ more than 8,000 staff.

The UHB is seeking to appoint an Executive Recruitment Specialist with a successful track record of Director level recruitment within organisations facing significant challenges and in organisations characterised by complexity and scale. The successful supplier will have a strong appreciation of issues facing the NHS.

The requirement is to assist in the search of suitable appointments for Director of Finance and Procurement and an Assistant Director of ICT in the first instance. However the UHB will also reserve the right to utilise the contract awarded if further Executive appointments are required during either i) next 12 months or ii) if the requirements exceed the OJEU thresholds (currently at £106,047 exc VAT). The services are required urgently to facilitate the commencement of a rapid appointments process.
