The Council are seeking suitably qualified and experienced contractors to tender for the appointment of a contractor for urgent council bungalow adaptation, extension and upgrade works at 22 Leighton View, Welshpool, Powys, SY21 7UJ.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

Bidders must meet the requirements published in the Contract Notice. These represent the basic business requirements of the Council (the "Minimum Requirements"):

Registration with CHAS or SSiP equivalent scheme, by the date of tender return.

Asbestos Awareness training is a requirement for all operatives working on site, with certificates to be produced upon request prior to commencement of works.

Constructionline registration to a minimum of Level 2 (Silver) Status, with work categories and category values appropriate to this project, by the date of tender return.

Insurances are required as follows:

Public Liability Insurance - £5,000,000.

Employers Liability Insurance - £5,000,000

Works must be completed within 6 months of commencement on site, not including for inclement weather or unforeseen/additional works.

3. Responding to the tender
