Invitation to tender for a project manager for Wales at Showcase Scotland 2022 at Celtic Connections

We are looking for an experienced project manager to develop, deliver and manage Wales’ branded showcase event at Showcase Scotland, as well as to deliver the Wales stand during the 4-hour long Showcase Scotland trade fair, coordinating the communications and press work around the event, and to liaise with the Showcase Scotland Working Group and partners who are delivering other developmental opportunities for artists around the event.

3 Conditions for Participation

Minimum standards and qualification required

Successful bids will provide practical evidence of the following:

• Substantial project management experience of delivering time specific events

• Proven experience of previous creative producer roles in relation to the implementation delivery of music events

• Experience of managing budgets

• Experience of working and communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders

• The capacity to begin the work quickly and to work intensively to meet deadlines

• Representing good value for money

• An understanding of Welsh culture and the Welsh music sector (knowledge of the Welsh language is welcomed but not essential)
