Abstract

A mobile manipulator, i.e., a robotic system composed of a manipulator arm with a gripper, which is mounted on a robotic mobile platform. The mobile manipulator is intended for indoor and outdoor research applications, thus requiring the capability of moving over different terrains. The mobile manipulator is expected to be able to conduct autonomous tasks, therefore proprioceptive and exteroceptive sensors are required as specified below.
