RCT Short Term Prison Offender Project

Description of the goods or services required

The projects primary objective is to prevent homelessness and or loss of their home by working with offenders to identify any presenting issues which may impact on immediate or future loss of accommodation and on then re-offending. The services the Council are procuring will provide help and support interventions to repeat offenders who are often subject to short term sentences i.e. those who are sentenced to less than 12 months in custody who are predominately male clients (excluding IOM cohort) across RCT.

The project team will deliver targeted one to one support and intervention to offenders in RCT who are identified as being short term sentence offender. They will work in partnership with other members of the Homelessness team and Probation Team, supporting offenders who are homeless, and have chaotic lifestyles.
