Bridgend County Borough Council are procuring a family group conferencing service for children in need or at risk, by supporting a whole family approach and empowering families to build on their strengths. The service will provide independent support to assist families to prepare, plan and make decisions whilst ensuring the child’s voice is heard and central to the process.

This service plays a vital role in strength-based working, which acknowledges the positives as well as addressing the needs and challenges within a family. It is intended to build on family strengths, empower families to take control and develop a solution focused plan which they are responsible for.
