Abstract

Introduction Social Care Wales was established in April 2017, bringing together social care workforce regulation, workforce development and service improvement in one organisation. Our priorities include supporting people who work in social care in Wales to use research, data and evidence to develop practice, service design and policy-making, and we have recently extended our remit to support innovation. We are committed to making better use of digital solutions. What is required / ‘The Requirements’ We need high-quality, research-related content to sit on our new website and to be communicated across all our digital platforms. We have recently identified six priorities and associated sub-topics for this content. These have been identified through two priority-setting exercises conducted in partnership with the James Lind Alliance and have been mapped on to the priorities identified by ADSS Cymru. They are: Understanding and supporting the workforce Improved wellbeing Attraction, recruitment, and retention Multi-agency working to improve outcomes Health and social care partnership working Strengths-based approaches Involving people in decisions about their care Empowering families to manage challenges Motivating families to engage Respecting and listening to families Needs requiring complex support Trauma-informed approaches Mental health support Responding to violence and aggression Supporting children and parents with neurodevelopmental disorders Tackling inequality Access to services Quality of services System change Innovative funding models Innovative delivery models Outputs We are looking for quotations for content on any of the sub-topics. We would welcome quotations for a single sub-topic or multiple sub-topics. Please specify which sub-topics are included in your quotation.
