Abstract

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) is looking for a suitably qualified contractor to carry out a package of work regarding enabling works within existing X Ray rooms. The work is to complete the specialist enabling works for Siemens Digital Radiography X Ray systems in existing X Ray rooms at Deeside Community Hospital, Royal Alexandra Hospital and Denbigh Infirmary along with associated infrastructure and refurbishment works to the X Ray room suites. The works will commence in January 2024 and be complete by 22nd March 2024 with all 3 programmes of work running in parallel. Interested contractors should be able to adequately resource the works during this period as the available funding only applies to this period of time. Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board recognises the importance of the Welsh language to the communities it serves. Consequently, responses to an invitation to quote or tender will be accepted in Welsh as well as English. However, please note that tender responses submitted only in Welsh will be translated by the Health Board into English before consideration. Those involved in translating the document will be barred from taking decisions on awarding tenders. The tender will be awarded to the most economically advantageous tender based on 40% quality and 60% cost as detailed in the ITT document.
