You are formally invited by Estyn to submit a tender for a firm price contract for the provision of office cleaning services (including labour, equipment and consumables such as cleaning chemicals, toilet rolls and paper towels) at Estyn, Anchor Court, Keen road, Cardiff, CF24 5JW.

Total quantity or scope of tender

Provision of office cleaning services for Estyn at Anchor Court.

Anchor Court is a three storey modern office building which is multi-let to different clients. Estyn currently occupies the whole of the second (top) floor totalling 1,061 sq. m.

The Contractor will be responsible for:

1)providing all cleaning equipment

2)adequately supplying consumables to be used on site such as (but not limited to) toilet rolls, paper towels etc. In addition the Contractor is to maintain a log of all purchased consumables which should be made available at all meetings and upon request at other times

3)ensuring that all products used on site are accredited as environmentally

4)friendly and are approved for use by Estyn

5)ensuring confidentiality and security of work

6)ensuring that ICT equipment remains untouched but non-essential items including the office printers are switched off at night.

Please also see the “schedule of work” for our detailed specification of works and an example of the waste record log which is to be maintained by the Contractor.

In addition the Contractor is to maintain a log of all materials and consumables used on site.
