Description of the goods or services required
The objective of the work is to provide GIS spatial data sets and a report for the three natural resource planning trial catchments; Rhondda, Tawe and Dyfi, respectively. These data sets should identify and prioritise areas for woodland creation that would result in a reduction of diffuse pollution.

This project aims to use opportunity mapping to identify areas for woodland creation that would reduce diffuse pollution and result in better water quality within the catchment(s). The targeted planting of woodland has been shown to reduce the flow of diffuse pollution into water courses. The maps produced will be used to inform planning decisions alongside other information that has and will be gathered during the trials.
