Economic and Social Impact Survey

Description of the goods or services required

The aim of this invitation to tender is to gain an independent impact assessment of the economic and social impact of Cardiff University. This will provide a baseline analysis of the University’s impact and a baseline for biennial measurements.

The detailed report will provide a quantitative analysis based on the 2012/13 academic year HESA and HEB-CI statistics along with a qualitative analysis based on both the 2012/13 and 2013/14 academic year.

Relevant comparison with other Welsh and UK universities should be made where data is available.

Relevant secondary data will be supplied and it is anticipated that the commission will include some primary qualitative research. We will discuss sources and materials for case studies with the successful bidder.
