Description of the goods or services required

we wish to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified contractor to carry out renewals of Fire resistant door sets to common parts in accordance with the “Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2015, Current Building Regulations and Specification”

All works are to be designed and installed in line with requirements of Building Regulations Approved Document B (Appendix 11) the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) order 2005 in line with all other current and relevant legislation, best practice documents and FIRAS accreditation. The successful Contractor and site operatives who carry out the works must be certified and registered as approved by FIRAS (No exceptions given for those not accredited, all competitive tenders must comply) for the installation of timber fire doors.

You will be expected to undertake all duties of the Principal Contractor and Principal Designer in compliance with the requirements of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, in so far as they are applicable to the Works and adhere to The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
