UWTSD wishes to appoint a consultant to work alongside the ATiC project team to conduct business engagement and development activities. The selected consultant should have extensive experience, expertise as well as established networks in the life-science sector.

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Consultants are expected to consider how they might provide community benefits through its engagement and delivery of the contract and should to prepare an outline community benefits plan as part of the tender.

Relates to the following project/programme financed by EU Community Funds: The Assistive Technologies Innovation Centre (ATIC) is a Research and Innovation Centre based within UWTSD Wales Institute of Science and Art. ATIC is a core component of ACCELERATE a multi-partner project part funded by the ERDF. The project will provide research and innovation support for businesses and clinicians working across Wales. The aim of ATIC is to assist in the development and introduction to market of new products and services and to grow the Life-Science Sector in Wales
